You never hunt for a cable with this one. A 9.4-inch USB lead is built into the station, and a USB-C port takes your own cable if the console sits further away. When power comes on, the slots flash green three times, which tells you the charger is working before you load it.

The four 2550 mAh packs are rated for 20 to 25 hours of play and take five to six hours to fill, all four at once or one at a time. Each slot has its own red and green light, so you can see which pack is ready at a glance.
